X-TRAINER PROR2 is a development module for electronic projects based on 8-bit PIC microcontrollers, its design allows programming, debugging and code implementation. It supports up to 412 models of 8-bit PICs thanks to its 5 DIP sockets that allow easy placement of the PIC to be used, either 8, 14, 18, 20, 28, or 40 pins.
It facilitates the integration in a breadboard with its SIL connector and a direct arrangement of the microcontroller pins through holes, which are silk-screened with the microcontroller ports, with the great advantage that regardless of the PIC to be placed, the same distribution of the pins in the SIL connector and the holes will always be preserved. It has two pushbuttons, a LED for general purpose use, a micro USB connector to provide communication through the USB port of the PICs that integrate this peripheral, an ICSP connector compatible with the latest external PIC programmers such as MPLAB SNAP and a 3.3 or 5 V operating voltage selector.
X-TRAINER PROR2 is offered with various PIC microcontrollers for direct use with an external programmer or with the PIC18F45K50/4550 with an integrated Microside bootloader for immediate use without the need of an external programmer.
