Start in 10 minutes
- Power on your badge via USB-C, or insert 3x AAA batteries — explore the pre-installed BLE/Wi-Fi apps and the Digital Tamagotchi from the OLED menu.
- To update the firmware, put the badge into bootloader mode: hold BOOT, press and release RST, then release BOOT.
- Flash the latest firmware from the releases page using the browser-based ESP Tool or the esptool.py CLI.
- For custom firmware development, follow the official Minino firmware development guide — remember to target ESP32-S3, not Minino’s usual ESP32-C6.

Yes — use Minino’s modular system and examples as a starting point, following the official Minino firmware development guide. Minino usually targets ESP32-C6, but this badge uses an ESP32-S3, so set the correct chip target.
